Malik Rashad Chappell, age 14 of Belle Glade, Florida. passed away quietly with his family at his side on Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at Hospice of Palm Beach County following an extended illness.

He leaves to mourn his passing a loving mother; Lakena Peete, of Belle Glade, FL.; and his father Arthur Hicks, Sr., of Pahokee, FL. Five brothers; Jamar, Tavoris Peete, Ashton Gardner, Johnathan Hicks, and Artherien Hicks, all of Belle Glade, FL. Seven sisters; Lanorria White, Lataricka Holmes, Artaysha Hicks, Ar'Nique Hicks, Ar'Teria Hicks, Da'Kyia Hicks and Ty'Keria Hicks all of Pahokee, FL. Maternal grandfather; Willie Robinson and Paternal grandfather; Freddie Lee Hicks, all of Pahohee, FL. And a host of many aunts, uncles, cousins and sorrowing relatives and friends.

Homegoing Services were held Saturday, February 23, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Greater St. Paul. C.O.G.I.C. 915 W. Avenue A. Belle Glade, FL. Supt. Clarence Brown, Pastor; Felicia K. Hines, officiating. Friends called on Friday, February 22, 2013 from 5 - 7 p.m. at the church mentioned above. Interment at Forevergaleds Cemetery.
